We dug, we raced, we laughed, we howled at the moon and lit up the parking lot. It snowed, then the sun came out, and the band played on at one of the great mom and pop resorts in the American West, Lost Trail Powder Mountain. The 9th edition of A-Rob's Smash Life Banked Slalom raised thousands of dollars for the Plant A Seed Project and brought together a tribe of 200-ish folks in memory of Aaron Robinson and Dillon Candelaria.
Thank you to all the diggers, Shane Stalling, Joe Pope, Scott and the crew from Lost Trail, Pam Robinson and all who attended this perfectly loose gathering on the Montana/Idaho border, where the soul of snowboarding remains strong.
