Every once in a while it’s wise to pay homage to your roots, so on this Thursday we’re throwing it back to Mount Baker Hard Core’s 1991 debut of “Baked.” From the mid-1980s to the early 90s, the Mount Baker Hard Core helped lead the charge in all things freestyle and helped shape snowboarding as we know it today. Featuring Carter Turck, Jeff Fulton, David Wallace and more of the MBHC O.G.’s, “Baked” is mandatory viewing for any serious sideways slider.
“The section of Bas, Loeb, etc shooting boards with shotguns, were all done w/Craig Kelly’s boards,” TSNJ Publisher Jeff Galbraith says. “They just swung by his house when he was out of town and grabbed the boards to shoot w/shotguns for the vid. Craig was not amused.”
