Per usual, winter in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan warranted a season of park laps and urban edits, with sizeable powder days landing too few and far between.

Per usual, winter in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan warranted a season of park laps and urban edits, with sizeable powder days landing too few and far between. Marquette’s own Flannel Party — made up of Scott Seifert, Dane Branson, Matt Miley, James Stratton, brothers Andrew and Alex Flees and Joel Whealton — take matters into their own hands, working with what little is provided by mother nature and Marquette’s humble cityscape to fully utilize the central U.P.’s mere 200 inches last season. While Flannel Party’s debut mini-movie includes a good amount of snow rolling (a testament to the inevitable Michigan slush), the guys also make sure to incorporate every sketchy rail in Marquette city limits (including some solid junkyard finds), and even manage a few elusive Michigan backcountry shots, albeit a little soggy. Look closely and you might even find them sans flannel (example: 8:58).
