“I didn’t bitch out and move west.” That’s the motto behind the New York-based snowboard crew Ice Coast Kills Shit. Despite the lackluster riding conditions that the state usually experiences, Ice Coast Kills Shit prides themselves on making the most of their situation, embracing their geographic location and inspiring others to do the same. Last season New York was actually pretty lucky (from a snowboarder’s perspective) and there were a few major storms that kept things less icy than usual. The crew capitalized on it, hitting urban spots all over the state, from Troy to the Big Apple.
