Low snow? No problem. The conditions weren’t exactly prime for the second annual “Home Run” banked slalom invitational, but the event went down as a grand slam nonetheless. Fredi Kalbermatten, Silvano Zeiter, Sammy Luebke and dozens of other ripping riders gathered in Bellwald, Switzerland to race around the haggard slalom course, banging tricks off the banks and throwing tight turns around the berms. And, like most great events, by the end it had transformed from a friendly competition into an all-out party.
