Snowboarding in the backcountry leads to endless possibilities for riders to find new lines and spots to hit. Even places that riders are familiar with differ from time to time due to changes in weather and snowfall. Burton team riders Jussi Oksanen and Mikey Rencz say that is what keeps them “addicted” to the backcountry. It’s the high potential for new and challenging riding that keeps them coming back “day after day, year after year.”
In the newest full part from the “Burton Presents” series, Oksanen and Rencz travel through the Whistler backcountry, throughout various locations in Northern British Columbia and over to St. Moritz, Switzerland on a mission to find deep snow and stack awesome footage. With powder slashes galore, and plenty of stylish (and massive) flips and spins to match, it looks like their mission was a success.
